The Saint Edward Integrated School, a La Sallian supervised school, opens this school year 2012-2013 in Lancaster Estates, Imus, Cavite.  Property developer Pro-Friends said the school, named after its patron Saint Edward the Confessor, was in consultancy with the La Sallian Schools Supervision Office (LASSO) during its pre-operational phase.

When the school opens in June 2012, it will initially offer Kindergarten 1-2, Grades 1-4 and First to Second Year High School.  Initially, PRO-Friends dedicated  6.6 hectares for three buildings — a school, a gymnasium and a laboratory.  The dedication was attended by members of the academic community, LASSO, Department of Education representatives and PRO-Friends executives.

PRO-Friends chair and St. Edward Integrated School founder Gerry Choa and president Jocelyn Guzman led the ceremonies.  Among the attendees is MiVivienda Corp CEO Raul A. Pascual.

St. Edward Integrated School is a welcome addition to Lancaster Estates and is a continuing effort on the part of Pro-Friends to build a self-sustaining community for its residents.  Children of the township will get a quality education without having to go out of their community.   Other amenities of the township include a 24-hour security, gated entrance, exclusive country club with 2 swimming pools, a Roman Catholic chapel, commercial areas, landscaped parks and playgrounds, centralized water system, underground electrical system, concrete roads and a linear park in every backyard except for Diana, Alice and Catherine house models.

St. Edward Integrated School’s contemporary architectural design is done by RGB Architecture, a Hong Kong-based firm.  PRO-Friends is a business partner of MiVivienda and is the developer of Lancaster Estates, Bellefort  Estates, Carmona Estates and Garden Grove.

Lancaster Estates is located at Barangay Alapan, Imus Cavite.  It is 15 kilometers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, 21 kilometers away from the Makati Commercial and Business District and 20 minutes away from the SM Mall of Asia via the newly-opened Cavite Coastal Road Extension (Cavitex).
